The best way to solve the problem is to back up your files with another harddrive and ease the harddrive with the problem described about and then resintall the harddrive again. It's gonna consume a bit of time, but it will save your a lot more time to figure out the problem and then fix it. Believe me. I have the same experiences many times in the past and even some so called " experts" couldn't help me with the problem. And guess what? They all suggested me to ease and then reintall the harddrive. Plain and simple.

There are some programming languages that offer a solution to your problem. Visual Basic 6.0 is ideal for removing hard to remove files. The kill command of Visual Basic 6.0 is very powerful; it will even remove files that are open.Type in the following code in a Visual Basic compiler:
kill "C:\File.txt"
and execute.
An other way to remove files is via MS-DOS. If you have Windows, go to start > Execute and type in "cmd". A dos screen will pop up. Type in del "namefile" with the name of the file between quotes.
Hopefully this works for you.

Hi,
Here is one of the best software that you can use to delete the file from your desktop even in normal mode:
http://www.masoft.as.ro/Download/ForceDelete.zip
Give Force Delete a shot and get rid of that file that is bothering you.
If you know how to program, here is the link where you can find explanation and source code from the following link:

Thanks,

Try an erasing program.... U will find atleast trial versions of programs than can erase the file rather than jus deleting them.... Try cutting it and pasting it in recycle bin or a different location.... If doesnt work, let me know.,....

Well, if you cant delete it by right clicking, try sending it to the trash bin and attempt to delete it there.
If none of this works, go into SAFE MODE,and you should be able to delete it FINE. If you can't,sumthin is seriousl;y WRONG.
im me for more assistance,ICY. (black_ice_babe) main mess.id
