I don't think so, but for God's, Pete's and Heaven's sake DO NOT, I repeat

DO NOT MIX AMMONIA AND BLEACH--

This mixture creates a toxic fume that can/will kill you. If you insist on using both chemicals, make sure to rinse the surface off THOROUGHLY (and let dry) and change applicators (cloth/sponge) before you change chemicals... You probably shouldn't even have both containers open in the same room without airing out the room between chemicals, and NEVER EVER at the same time.

Normally, I don't use this much capitalization, but these two chemicals are a super-scary combo.

Your second question- yes, ammonia is ok to use on aluminum.

That female-person is right about mixing them, but if you're asking if their effects are similar to one another, then yes.

Ammonia kills mold just as well as bleach. But unless you want to win the Charles Darwin Award, please don't combine them.

I feel like a public service announcement.
