In The Simple Life starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie they looked like complete airheads. The premiere episode drew 13 million viewers, increasing Fox's Adults 18-49 rating a phenomenal 79%. Dumb obviously sells! The second episode drew 13.3 million viewers, an increase of 200,000 viewers over its premiere. During the airing of the series, Fox added two extra episodes and a reunion special, which continued to draw ratings. With results like this, it was only natural that Fox would order a second season.
Google has now reported that the most googled term in 2007 was 'Paris Hilton' believe it or not. She even has her own music now!

The YouTube website is going off and people just can't seem to get enough of this talentless Bimbo. So is she a self marketing genius or just a braindead blonde? I reckon anyone idiotic enough to put a metal cooking pot in a microwave is certainly ignorant but I'm uncertain as to whether or not she is acting dumb.

From the way she deal with her "tape" issue, you know she is not stupid.
Put it this way, she earn more than alot of us without trying being smart.

LOL imagine you're born with silver spoon in your mouth. Being a little princess when you're grown up. You can have anything that you want. She surely have business talents, and big capital behind her back. Too bad she's not taking anything that she did seriously but just for have fun. If she's concentrate on writing books I might like her but she published book for market reason and because at that time she wants to. Poor girl, I wonder when she's tired with all that and shoot herself.

I think for the most part, she really is dumb. I do believe that some of it is acting, which I guess makes her even more dumb for wanting to have an image like that.

I think she is smart. Bottom line, she makes millions doing nothing, and she makes the millions off of people who claim to hate her more than anyone else in the world. That takes a genius.

don't think she's dumb, just rich as hell, and can get away with anything.....she is young, and has unlimited access to travel anywhere, do anything, etc. so being young=irresponsible......most of us do stupid stuff when we are young, she is a public figure so her stunts get air time, plus I truly believe she loves the attention.....Note: you don't hear of her sister Nicky acting like that....she seems to have a little bit more class than her sister Paris.....It cracks me up to watch Paris "posing" for photographers, she is not drop dead georgous, but sort of thinks she is the shiznit....that makes me laugh......
