I bought this router ages ago but I'm not sure if I have everything I need or do I need an ethernet hub as well. Does anyone know?

i have the same i looked up setup for 802.11g on the net and fallowed theinstuction that i was given i have 4 pc running from it it is working so i must have done it right but can not remeber name of site but it should be easy to find it because i did not have much trouble findingit good luck, if you live in the swansea area i would come and help you

If you are already using the wireless router from Tesco as your modem the you should be able to activate your wireless adapter on the Laptop and "see" the network.
If you need to install the router/modem first then you should follow the instructions sent with the router.
Basically, you install the Router/Modem using a cable to ethernet connection and set up your connection to the broadband... then do above to set up the wireless.
