I just got back from the grocery store and they now that this crap already displayed, Don't you think it's to soon for this? And how could one do something about it?

Agreed...three days before Christmas is a little premature for Valentine's Day goo. We haven't even had time to return our unwanted Christmas gifts yet!

Not much we can really do about it though: vote with your wallet by not buying the stuff until closer to V-Day. Or find the address of the parent company marketing the candy and complain. But have a Merry Christmas first!

I have worked in retail before, especially party supply chains. Company's must start receiving the merchandise early that way they can effectively plan the way they are going to set everything up. Also, its a great marketing strategy because u will go to the store in hopes to find a last minute item that u need and instead end up picking up something cute that u saw for valentines day that "just so happened" to be on display, and that's how they get you!

You can't do anything about it. The store has to make its money ASAP and as long as they can. Although it does seem it gets put out there earlier every year

Is it too soon or too late? Check the candy wrappers...the expiry year's probably 2006.
