I've took Canesten oral pills yesturday and i;ve also used the cream cos of the itchiness,and burning irrtation but i've been taking antibotic for 7 days last one was taken on wed thats when i got the thrush attack..so i think that maybe the cause?

yes i do have them after my periods but not a bad one

Since Thrush is (usually) an oral yeast infection, in theory yes, however it is normally treated wtih pastilles - small tablets that need to dissolve slowly on the tongue.
If you mean a vaginal yeast infection - see your doc if you have never had one before. Taking strong antibiotics can kill the normal bacteria present in the vagina which can allow yeast to grow past their normal levels. Vagisil should be used externally only and does nothing to reduce the active yeast colony present.

Yes its possible that you may have thrush. I recommend talking to a doctor first before treating yourself with Vagisil cream.
