My husband received the ugliest GAP shirt I've ever seen. I tried to take it to a GAP store to have it exchanged but they told us it was three years old and worth a dollar.

It wasn't the worst, but it was the most I have ever been disappointed. And, at 52, I'm ashamed that I still remember it. I was 9, and I had asked for a race car set - you know, an electric track with controlers and stuff. I opened the biggest box hoping it would be just that, and the outside of the box said "Car Zoom" and it had a picture of racing cars on it, and I was excited beyond belief. When I got it open it was a board game. I'll never forget how disappointed I was, but I kept a straight face and acted excited. That's pretty good for a 9 year old.

The Christmas after I moved out, my stepmother threw two crumpled up boxes on my car while I was at work. The first contained the gift I had given her, with "doesn't fit" written across the box. The second contained my "gift": a shirt that had been lying in the bottom of her closet for a year. After a good cry, my best friend took the returned item and said she'd wear it and my "gift" was thrown in the dumpster.

The worst Christmas present I've ever gotten is my grandmother's chocolate cake. I was taken to the hospital because of it. My Chrismas was ruined.

You need to give Slaughter114 the 10 points... that is awful! I have never recieved a really awful gift, just ones that people didn't put much thought into or ones that are off... you know the ones.... you ask for a hobo bag, you get a duffle bag, you ask for clothes from Express, you get clothes from JC Penny. But hey, a gift is a gift and not something you had to buy so I appreciate them all.

My family got angry about something on Christmas Day, didn't show up for Christmas Dinner. Our relationship has never recovered, and Christmas always brings back the horrible memories. So, I guess that was my worst gift...

a spanish version of that horrible movie christmas vacation. I saw the previews it was the last thing I would have EVER asked for and in order to get rid of it since I thought the previews made the guys in the movie look completely retarded, I threw it in the trash where it belonged.

I once got a sweatshirt from my now Mother-In-Law with giant letters, spelling "LOVE" across it. I was in college. That same Christmas I went with the family to meet some aunts and uncles, and watched while they all opened presents. My husband's 70-year old aunt opened her present from my Mother-In-Law and pulled out a sweatshirt with giant letters, spelling "LOVE" across it!
