yep, did all that andwhat is worse is what i didn't do. at least in my case. at this stage i have to stop denying how much i feel sorryh for myself. so what. well there is a little pressure released. acceptance. owning up and taking mhy beating. you probably haven;t a clue.

Yes. Apologize without giving excuses as soon as you realize you were wrong. More people will love you if you try to see the situation clearly (instead of fighting that you are correct when you are not).

Absolutely! It is part of life, growing up and maturing. Are you able to say sorry and ask for forgiveness. After you stop being so hard on yourself you will understand yourself, the situation, and others better. You will move on, stop dwelling, enjoy life knowing it won't happen again.
