Hey, I'm here on Answers with the rest you smart people, aren't I?
Mom: a dozen red roses with a big Christmas bow and vase, , her favorite perfume, and a written apology for every rotten thing you have ever done to her. LOL. Stocking stuffers: a box of candy, premium chocolate, of course.
Dad: tickets to a sports event and some cash for hotdogs and beer and parking. Gift certificate for a car detailing, and free meal for him and your Mom at the local steakhouse, or his favorite restaurant, just the two of them..A gift card for a free oil change would be a great stocking stuffer.
Sis: jewelry, a lovely bracelet with a heart charm engraved with the word "sister', a neclace with a heart charm, or a circle of diamonds, both very popular. Is Sis out one her own? A gift certificate to Pottery Barn, or Pier 1. Or buy her some time for her cell phone. The last would make a great stocking stuffer.
Merry Christmas to all of you!

Instead of being confused of what kind of presents to be given to your sister-25, mom-48, and dad- 52... why don't you just try to do something special for the unlucky ones out there? Charity, donation, etc?
There are so many people (children or adults) out there who really suffer and unhappy with their life because they are not as lucky as you are now.
Why don't try to do something special on this Christmas days to make them happier a bit?

WOW- Everyone completely overlooked the question.
I think clocks are really nice gifts. Especially for your
parents. Every-time they look at it they will be thinking of you.
And for your sister a nice Terry cloth robe for when she
gets out of the bath. Those are nice. But make sure that
it doesn't have nylon threading, you know the thread that
looks like fishing line it can be uncomfortable to wear if the knots are in the wrong place it will poke you.

I belong to Memsa which is a group of people whose IQs are the highest and I finished mt masters degree in 5 years Thank you but no thank you you are not able to judge my degree of intellect. As far as gifts I do not know the people you are referring to therefore I can not make an intelligent sauggestion because their interests must be brought into consideration.

I am intelligent and the best gift to give them is Love and the truth. The truth is Christmas is really celebrating the day of a sun god. It is a pagan Holiday and worship of Jesus. Now if I remember right.....god hates people who worship idols and also greedy people who expect something just because they think they deserve it.........if you really wanted to get them something you would not have waited till now to do it. Shame on you

I know I'm smart - don't need to convince you :-)

As for gifts, at this late date - I'd head straight for the gift certificates; everything else is gonna be picked cleaner than a Thanksgiving turkey's wishbone by now.

I know that I'm smart. And as far as you judging my intelligence,
your opinion of me is just that, your opinion and it doesn't count.
As for the gift dilemma, when you're not sure what gift is the right
one for your family members give them gift cards so that they
can get what they want with it.

Most people who are really smart do stupid things. Look at all the men in San Quentin. why are some still alive. Are they being studied.
