I would like to see one post from you that is pro-American in some way. Please.

Just to reaffirm my faith in our nation's universities' ability to provide an unbiased education.

And to answer your question, you are engaging in what is called ethnocentrism, which is applying the morality of today to the people of yesterday.

Not very scientific.

George Washington was the reason we won the Revolutionary War. Read about the Battle of Saratoga.
All presidents of that time were discriminatory against the Native Americans which was very wrong.
But none as bad as Andrew Jackson who forced the Cherokees in the South to march on the "Trail of Tears" where thousands of them died.
GW was an outstanding leader who was an inspiration to the depressed troops in a time when we needed leadership. He also help plan the capital city and established legal precedents for future times.

Under the so-called Newspaper Revitalization Act, newspapers could operate as nonprofit companies for educational purposes and would have a status similar to that of public broadcasters. Cardin says his legislation is aimed primarily at helping local and small town newspapers, not big conglomerates. Giving non profit status and tax breaks to small newspapers who are losing money and probably don't pay much in taxes, anyway is hardly a bailout.

Well, at least George didn't set out on a voyage in search of India only to mistake America for India. Besides, George never mistook Native Indians for Asian Indians.

Furthermore, we have George Bush right now. Who could be worse?!

Evidently he could not have been that bad if the country stuck together through his terms. Times were different back then...things that would never fly now flew back then. You have to look at the totality of the circumstances.

George Washington may only be second to one other president, and that would be Abe Lincoln. Washington created our nation, and Lincoln saved it. Both great presidents, tied for first, in my opinion

Oh, knock it off! I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE NATIVE AMERICANS! AND I HOPE THAT'S YOU AND I HOPE YOU'RE OFFENDED!

George Washington ROCKS! We need some asskickers like him arounnd today.

Oh, now the liberals are coming out from under their rocks en masse, howling about Christopher Columbus and others. Jefferson is probably next.

Whom do you admire, Bill Clinton (no doubt)?
