i understand that cramps are apart of a womens menstrual cycle but why is it that we go through mood swings. I always know when im about to start cause the night before i get so depressed and cry all night. why is that? can anyone help me figure this out? thank you

it is a change in hormones. There are so many hormones in the female body sending so many messages including the menstral cycle and your body just reacts to the imbalance in hormones. PMS can be mild or very harsh depending on the woman but if you can keep track of your action before your period you can get through PMS with a bit more ease knowing that it your hormones are changing and that you are not truely mad over something small.

PMS- my worst enemy! I get mood swings, cramps, headaches, bloating, basically everything! Even craving. Midol helps A LOT. If it's really severe there's a prescription for itJust our hormones going crazy.
