Pharmacy techs do not make good money. You'll start at $8-$9 per hour. Pharmacy tech is not an exciting job. All you'll do is enter information on to a computer and fill pill bottles.
For a high school student, it is very hard to find a job. Some states do allow for current high school student to be a pharm tech. Most pharmacy managers prefer to not hire high schoolers. Anyway you have to be at least 16 to work in a pharmacy.

Honey you need to do whats in your heart. If you feel thats not what you want to do than don't. I tried doing the same thing to my daughter which is now 17 and she did the totally opposite and doesn't even want to take a Profession seriously anymore. The more parents push you. The more you will resist. It's true because of experience. I hope and wish the best for you and do what makes you happy. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

u shld do wat u lke.
mah dad alwayz tellz me that even if u noe or dnt noe wat ur gonna b wen uve finished hi skool, the no.1 thing u shld do is study study study HARD.
the higher scores u get in the final tests (in aus UAI score frm the HSC) u will then have more chances nd oppurtunities to choose a career.
if u get a low score, u will then have less choices but with higher scores, u can choose something from a bigger range. that way, u can look at the jobs nd careers available nd choose ones that look appealing to u.
also if u get a higher score, u can choose frm the good stuff all the way down to the low stuff which the peple that got low scores cant do.(they cn onli do low jobs nd not anything higher then their scores.)

its really good advice nd im going 2 follow it till i finish hi skool.
lol srri about the confusing advice but if u get it, it really helps

If you're fifteen, you're way too young to make such a decision without having "played the field". College students on average, change their major three times. Career decisions take a lot of insight on ones' own abilities. Think hard before taking the time to cut your life's path.

If you study to be a pharm tech then how are you going to find time to do anything else? Your only 15. Tell them that Pharm Tech is on the consideration list.

Don't do something because it makes others happy (even thought this career might be okay).
