My friend is very wealthy...and I'm well...not.
it's christmas and she spent $150 on me.
What can I get her to be well...equal.

My family just doesn't have that kind of money this year...
please help?

I need examples.

and please don't tell me to tell her i don't have the money.

I need ideas of something that won't look cheap, but won't cost well...$150...

i can probably spend like idk 75$?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP IN ADVANCE.

and Merry Christmas!

oh...
well let me explain...
I think because she is so wealthy... she doesn't appreciate anything home-made.
She's very superficial.

I am just so confused!

I know my mom doesn't have that kind of money, and I feel so bad!

thank you so much for your suggestions.

I would build her a package with multiple items in it so it looks like a lot.

Do you have Marshalls, TJ Maxx or Ross in your town? If so you can buy some really great stuff at 50% off. Sweaters, scarfs, perfume, awesome purses - you name it. Steinmart has really cute hats and gloves combinations.

Also you could go to the GAP and buy her some Project RED stuff. T Shirts are $28, there are scarfs and other items. A lot of the money goes to help African peoples.

Just give her the gift and don't worry about a financial match. I am sure she knows that your economic circumstances are not the same.

That is a tough one. You should think about a sentimental gift. I think that pictures and album are the way to go. You can't put a price on memories and is she is a true friend a trip down memorie lane with the person who helped make them is one of the best gifts out there. Try putting together a scrap book of old times.

if someone buys you a expensive gift, they should not expect that you will buy a present that cost that much. If she gets upset over the gift you buy her, then i would question rather she is a true friend, cause a true friend will buy you any present they want to and expect nothing in return. i can understand that you would like to buy your friend a gift, but you should not be under pressure cause of what she spent.

I don't think you should struggle to equal your friend's gift to you. She's probably aware that you don't have that kind of money. Just get her some perfume, bath & body thing, or a cute sweater.

If she doesn't like that, too bad. You tried.

If this is a close friend then your friend should be well aware of your family's financial status so please stop worrying this is your friend go to Ross/Kohl's or a place like that get her a nice shirt cut the price off and call it a day she must have everything she wants. I am hard to buy for but if you were to get me something I can use like a $20 gift card for gas I would way happy something she can use is the key.

Well for next year, EBAY honey! For this year, make a scrapbook with pictures off all the things that u have done this past year, she will totally appreciate that, and then u could get her a bath & body set to go with it :-) Good luck hun!

Is there something that you can make for her because then it usually works out cheaper... Buy something plain and decorate it for her. A huge pot for a plant, photo album etc. You might also be able to get something off ebay for cheap, or wait until the sales after xmas and get something when it's all on sale.

go to Target.com, up at the top it will say gift finder, click on that, click the appropriate category, *teen girl* etc, click gifts under 50 dollars and shop away. They also have this for numerous other stores, kohl's, i believe dillards also has one as well. good gifts, for little money that dont look "cheap" good luck.
