I've never tried it before but everyone raves about it. For my face I will ONLY use bare minerals and for mascara I'll only use diorshow but I'm open for other stuff. opinions ladies?

Stick with the bare minerals. MAC is great for color but it is really bad for your skin.

MAC is not for everyone. Its foundations, powders, and blushes are notoriously comodegenic for some (it clogs the pores).
If it works for you, that's terrific because they have the widest variety of shades and they're relatively inexpensive for a department store brand. The products are highly pigmented too.
I use some MAC stuff, the eyeshadows are simply FABULOUS, you must give them a try. I personally don't like the lipsticks though because I can't stand the vanilla-ish scent.

Mac face make up like their foundations, bronzer will make you break out horribly, I know from personal experience so I'd stick with the bareminerals. But they do have a wide variety of colors for eye shadows, so if you want to add some color to your face, pick out a fun color eyeshadow. Their lip glosses are also good. But if you want to get some good blush try Nars, they have some good color blushes that won't clog your pores.

No. They are mainly celebrity endorsed which plays a huge part in why they are so big. Plus, they always seem to have music playing at their little shop and it seems fun and hip. Their makeup is really thick and seems to me like it clogged my poors. Their gloss doesn't stay on very long. Their eyeshadows really don't apply to well. Their nail polish cracks just as quick as anyother brand. I do like their brushes though, and they do have fun eyeshadow colors. Oh, and their eyelashes aren't too great either. They are expensive and they don't last that long.

Hey,
I have that MAC lipglass stuff and it's sticky but it really does give a nice look, I find. If you have your hair up (so it won't blow into your face), and you want something with staying power go for it.
Diorshow is great mascara, I use it too.
You could try their eyeshadows, they have some cool colors.

I've only really used the MAC eyeshadow and paints... I am really happy with them, they stay where you put them for quite a long time, especially the paints. Its pretty rare that I wear makeup, but its good stuff.

well i think there stuff is well made and will last. . . but it is pricey so i tend to get essentials there. . . but their lip glass is wonderful as are all of their eye shadows and other eye liners and stuff. . . plus the people there are VERY helpful and should give you some tips to steer you in the right path. . . well they work for me so yea give it a shot!

I love mineral powder makeup too, but i found Arbonne's mineral powder foundation to be purer and less costly, especially since i buy it wholesale too! ;)

no, everyone that i see wearing mac makeup have bad skin and the makeup is very cakey. i think mac makeup is bad for your skin from the people i have seen wearing it. i would stick with higher quality designer brands like dior or chanel.
