Hi! K, all fake eyelashes that you buy in a drug store are usually synthetic meaning that they are fake of course. They look it too. If you want to use these types of lashes you should use individual lashes. They look a lot more realistic, but they take FOREVER and a day to apply. It sounds like you are trying to fix a problem though, and it is troublesome to apply fake lashes all the time. I prefer to get professional permanent eyelashes.
They work excellent and you can use them for 2 to 3 months before having to go back in for a rebase. They can be pricey though, but if you are looking for a way to make your eyes go sky high glam you check it out. I use Xtreme Lashes and you can see their webpage at www.xtremelashes.com. They may or may not have an expert in your area, but they more than likely will. The trend is really taking off.

As with all falsies, the thickness and length are what make the price. When you get them done professionally you have the advantage because the person doing your lashes has gone through classes and can tell you which style and length are best for your shape of eyes and face giving you the best benefit. Remember this when picking any type of lash and you're sure to look stunning. Ardell makes good lashes if you don't want to go pro, and Sephora has some of the best selection as well. You might also like eEylash.. The links are all below. Hope that helps you on search for show stopping eyes!

you can find fake eyelashes anywhere (drugstores, walmart, etc) and you can also get the more expensive ones (MAC or "make up forever" makes one too). another thing you can do is use mascara that comes w/ the white base thing on one side. it really really works. i use it regularly and everyone thinks im wearing falsies. the white part "builds" a base and lengthens your lashes and the black part (mascara obviously) coats the base and it looks like it adds a couple cms to your lashes.

I'm not sure about brands, but you can get them at Sally's Beauty Supply cheaply and they are usually very good quality.
