Habitat for humanity if your over 18, homeless shelter food banks, the court should give you a list of local places that have community service.

When I had court ordered community service, the probation dept. gave it to me. I didn't have a choice. Consider yourself lucky. Look into something that you have an interest in.

Check with the court that sentenced you. Anything you do must be approved by them anyway so that would be the best option.

I think you can contact the transportation department and pick up trash or pull weeds. Contact your judge.

I would ask your probation officer or the court. That way you do not waste your time on a project that is not approved.

I know for sure Goodwill Stores.. and hospitals. but you can get creative as long as you can prove you volunteered for the allotted time.
