I have heard it is very common. I am pregnant for the third time and I haven't gained any weight... I have been so sick too!! It sucks but I am 12 weeks now and I can eat again!!
I would talk to your doctor at your next visit. I am sure they are most concerned with you not being dehydrated more than anything.

Yes it can be very normal...I lost 15 lbs in my first pregnancy and became a stick with a belly and all was well my OB watched me very closely though. But I am now pregnant with our 3rd and the same thing was happening, my OB prescribed me a new prenatal vitamin that actually also contains a time released anti nausea medcation, so I hardly get sick now & dont get nausous from my prenatals, they helped within 24 hours, they are my miracle pill! Ask your OB for help, any good OB will do what ever it takes to keep you healthy , comfortable as possible & healthy

In my first trimester I lost 20 pounds because I was sick all day 24-7 and I couldn't keep anything down. But about the 4th or 5th month it got better. Now I am 37 weeks pregnant and only get sick once in a while. I hope things get better for you.

yes, this is very normal. I lost so much weight when I first found out that I was pregnant I looked like I was on crack cocaine. But please be prepared to gain your weight and some more as the months progress with your pregnancy. To reduce morning sickness put a little salt in the palm of your hands and lick it. That helped me. I also ate a orange in the morning when I woke up and that settled my stomach also.

Yes, it's normal to lose weight during your first trimester. As long as you gain it back with the recommended weight for pregnancy later on, you should be fine. If you're concerned, talk to your doc to see if there's something they can suggest. They may not be worried about it either.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
