I was cited for speeding and too dark of window tint, which has a court date and is a misdemeanor in Kansas. What exactly does that mean? Does it just mean it is not a traffic violation, or it is more serious? Should worry about being found guilty of it, or just tell the judge sorry your honor and pay it? I'm not sure why window tint would be considered a misdemeanor and different than a traffic violation and if its something I should be concerned about being convicted of. I know possible avenues of getting out of it, I just want to know if I should worry about it.

The first link takes you to the Kansas statute 8-1749a which describes the crime of "tints too dark" under traffic laws. Misdemeanors on the other hand are violations of the criminal code for which prison sentences of less than one year may be granted. Usually a little more serious than a traffic code violation. Nevertheless, the second link (statute 8-2118) lists all the traffic infractions that qualify as only that (it is a long list). Good luck.

It means that if it was not factory issue, the cops think you are tinting your window so that you won't be I.D. ed in the event of a crime.

a million) No thank you to tell. they might or would possibly no longer verify, yet maximum possibly they are going to verify 2) they might verify to quote you for mendacity to police, between different issues, that are far greater severe than an undemanding site visitors quotation (no longer even a shifting violation, no factors)
