If you are O, your son's father must be B or AB. The + and - are different, and more complicated, so you could both be + and have a - kid, or both be - and have a + kid.

NOTE: A and B are DOMINANT, O is recessive. You are "O," therefore your "blood type pair" is "O-O." You gave ONE "O" to your child. The Father as to have a "B" to give - therefore he must be "A-B", "B-B", or "B-O" gene type. He cannot be "A-O" or "A-A" because he had to have a "B" to give to your kid.

If he is "B-O" he will be called "B" because B is dominant. If he is "A-B" he will be called "AB" because A and B are co-dominant.
