Hey i have a normal xbox and i want the game "Saints Row" for christmas and when i go to ever store or game store it's only for xbox360 and i wanted to know even though the case and disk says "xbox360" does it work for a normal xbox game system?

I'll answer it by posing a question of my own. Why on earth would Microsoft release a new console if all the new games played on their old system? It would be rather counterproductive wouldn't it? There is not a single 360 game that will play on the original xbox. There are quite a few Xbox games however, that will play on the 360 as long as you have a harddrive with your 360.

regrettably No. Xbox video games are basically opposite compatable meaning, you may play the former Xbox video games on the 360, yet not any incorrect way round. Now with some mods...nicely... that is a diverse tale.

no you need a 360 to play 360 games, thats why they say xbox360 and not just xbox
