Not that i'm complaining (i'm in the military), but just out of curiosity, why are women so attracted to men in uniform?

For me, it's what the uniform represents. Usually, those who wear uniforms are in the military, police or fire service. These are people who put their lives on the line for us and protect our freedom and property every day.

I think this goes back into our ancestors. As in the wild the male species is always more attractive then the females. The females always picked the ones that were the cream of the crop. Men in Uniforms look healthy, virile, good protectors and providers not to mention the best genes to pass on to the next generation. We haven't changed much from then. We still look for that in men now.

The only thing that makes it remotely attractive is that at least he is wearing something other than a huge white t-shirt that is practically a dress and baggy jeans that are barely staying on his a s s! Women like men who are dressed attractively, and uniforms have kind of a romantic and old fashioned feeling about them because they have a classic fit (not overly huge and ridiculous) Much better to show off your body in!!

Coz a man in a uniform usually has some sort of Authority and some girls like to feel the guy they are with is strong, powerful, will protect them and will take control. All this gives the impression for a super bonk... oh yeah.
But me... I`m not interested in a guy in uniform... I want a small, skinny dork... I think guys in uniform are meatheads and not worth my time. Except firemen... now they are hot.

I am 29 now, and grew to appreciate men in uniforms as I got older. I think it makes a man look 'manly; and with some uniforms, quite dignified. The dignified ones carry themselves differently as well as treat people differently. There are always exceptions, but these are my 'reasons'.

I don't know. But maybe because a man in uniform is wearing a good fit and he must keep it clean. Most women like clean men in good suit.

super sexy, not fast food uniform. It's how clean and professional it looks. It has to do alot of how the guy carries himself in it.

1. Because they can look at the uniform and go over to the pay scale for time in service and know what you are worth.
2.They have to check credit reports on civilians.
3. They can then figure what they can hit you for in child support and alimony.
