I watched it yesterday, and thought it was a fairly good movie. The majority of it is quite depressing, although very touching at the same time. You'd like it if you're the deep and emotional type, but there are fun and suspenseful parts too.

It's "The Pursuit of Happyness" with a y. There is reference to that in the film. They spelled it wrong on purpose. I saw it, and it wasn't something I would recommend if you are looking for just a movie or something happy. It is a little slow-paced, and I won't see it again in theaters, something I do regularly with movies. Go see it if you are in the mood for something deep otherwise go see something else. Will Smith's son is really cute and surprisingly a good actor.

I've just returned from seeing it. It is a very good movie. I think you would enjoy it. It can be depressing, but the end is worth it. It is the "Pursuit of Happyness". When you see the movie you will understand the misspelling.

Yes, "The Pursuit of Happyness" is a great movie! I highly recommend it. It'll definitely pull at your heart strings, and Will and Jaden are great actors. You'll root for them the entire movie; Will and Jaden are great emoters. You can feel what they're feeling.

I loved it.
Will Smith was so incredible and watching the struggle that Chris Gardner went through to get where he is today is amazing.
I felt so much and it was a very powerful and touching movie.
Him and his son Jaden played so well together and the best part is the ending, cause you see the real Chris Gardner walk by them.
Definite recommed and Will Smith deserves an oscar nod for his performance. I think it was one of his best acting performances to date.

It is a really good movie if you like movies dealing with the issue of men overcoming all odds. There is not a lot of "action" or "romance," but it is a deeply moving movie about a father and son (wife abandons them early in the movie) who, despite no one helping them, come through.
I recommend it highly, but you have to like the inspirational type of movie in order to enjoy it.

Wii Smith is great in it as is his son,the moral of the story, anything can be achieved if you are determined. great movie, I loved it,great to bring your kids as well.
