Scooby Doo, Where Are You( the original Series from the late 60's early 70's). The new show is fine, but when you look at how budgeted the show was(how many times did they use the same animation and backgrounds?), the concept of kids and a dog solving mysteries was amazing for its time, and it became what's known as an Evergreen property-it continues to make money decades later. It had some great writing, and who doesn't like Kasey Kasem as Shaggy? I thought it was great they brought him back to voice the current series. I guess I like the original because Hanna and Barbera couldn't have known how popular the show would be at the time 30 years later.

I'm completely shallow and was always in love with most of the female characters - Betty Rubble, Wilma Flintstone, Penelope Pitstop, Jane Jetson, and my favourite cartoon pin-up of all time, Judy Jetson! **** Dastardly and Muttley were cool as well. Thanks for bringing this news story to my attention, or I'd have missed it entirely. I watch Cartoon Network nearly all the time. I still prefer HB stuff to the current cartoons they pump out - "Ed Edd & Eddy" and the like, although good, are not as good as the old Hanna-Barbera cartoons or even the old Warner Bros shorts.

Got to be the Flintstones...I am old enough to be a huge fan of the show "The Honeymooners," you know, Jackie Gleason and Art Carney. Fred and Barney are a terrific animated version of Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton, and that makes the show even more enjoyable for me.

It would have to be Scooby Doo and Jonny Quest because I love the mystery and adventure in these two. I also loved when the Globetrotters guest starred on Scooby Doo those were great episodes.

I have to say the Jetsons because I like science fiction type stuff, and they designed it to be a futuristic version of the Flintstones. Did ya know that?

Definitely TOM & JERRY, the world's best loved cartoon, has won the maximum number of awards, and best of all, it is awfully funny.
