I'm from Taiwan and wants to attend US law school. I've done some research and found that the international students percentage for law school is extremely low, even 0% for some schools. Is this because some schools don't accept international students? Or is there just fewer international students applying to US law schools? I just found out I got a 169 on my LSAT, and I have a 3.77 undergraduate GPA. Would I have relatively the same chance of being accepted as any other American student with the same numbers? Or am I at a disadvantage?

The answer to your question is so obvious that you may have overlooked it.

The percentage of international students attending US law schools is low because one learns American law in US law schools.

The vast majority of aspiring lawyers want to practice law in their own countries, and therefore must learn the law as it is taught and applied in their own nations. In most cases, a knowledge of American law would not serve a student from another nation.

This does not, however, mean that you are at a disadvantage in terms of admissions. Your chances would be the same as an American student. However, do be prepared to justify (in your application) your ambition to study US law. If you are not yet a US citizen, do *not* build your case on a desire to attain or an expectation of attaining US citizenship. *Do* be prepared to articulate how a knowledge of US law could be applied fruitfully in your own country.
