In this day and age, one must be a liar in order to succeed. That is a real problem for me. I am an honest person. I don't even lie to my wife. I mean think about it men. how honest is that? I know; it's hard core.

Anyway, I need to learn how to lie. in the George W Bush era, lying is a part of life. if it's ot bush lying to us, it's us lying to ourselves to deal with his "policy." So, how can I learn to be a stone cold liar? And most importantly, how do I avoid turing into a stone cold murderer like George W Bush? All I want to do is just learn how to lie so I can take better care of my family. I don't feel the need to kill 85% of the planet.

Q: When is it wrong to tell a lie, and when is it OK to shade the truth a little? I admit I don't always tell the truth but it's usually about things that don't make any difference.

A:
A lie might not seem important to us—but in God's eyes there is no such thing as a harmless lie. In the Old Testament, one of the Ten Commandments declares, "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). The New Testament says, "Each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor" (Ephesians 4:25).

Why is this? Let me answer by asking you another question: Have you ever asked yourself why you lie—even when it seems unimportant? One reason may be to build yourself up in the eyes of others—to make yourself seem more important, for example, or to get them to like you. Or perhaps you lie to get yourself out of some difficulty—a difficulty you've gotten into because you failed to do something you should have done.

But whatever the reason, have you ever asked yourself what really happens when other people realize you're lying to them? The answer is obvious. Instead of thinking well of you, they look down on you and realize you can't be trusted. Instead of winning their love and respect, you end up with their scorn. The Bible says, "What a man desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar" (Proverbs 19:22).

Begin a new life today by giving your life to Christ and asking Him to come into your heart. Then ask Him to watch over your tongue and help you always speak the truth.

Honestly, changing because of society is pretty weak. You don't need to learn to lie. More people need to stop doing it so easily. And if you truly think politicians lying began with Bush you've been under a rock for many years! The more people conform because they think they have no choice, well, that's when things keep getting worse. And the world will get worse, ever read about the apocolypse? Doesn't mean you should give up, means you should be steadfast in your morals and beliefs. Anyhow, silly question, don't cahnge because of society.

I hear you. I am in the same boat and have struggled with this.
I can't lie without immediatley saying "I just lied" and telling the truth. Then the person gets really mad at me for lying, when they would never have know if I hadn't told them.
I'm a mess about lying really. The more you lie, the more you can be successful. I've noticed that most people like and respect you when you lie to them. I have to conclude that people are gullible and expect to be lied to and if they are NOT lied to, they think YOU are stupid.
So I can't tell you how except that practive makes perfect. As for me, I need to find a way to live with myself if I take up lying. I guess if I lived in the White House I could tell myself it's worth it.
bush DID say he was having a blast being president.

thats a skill that no one should master. The truth shall set you free. Problem with a lie is that you have to tell another lie to cover up a previous lie. Bush is not a murderer, every politician has issues and i mean ALL politicians, democrats are softies, republicans shoot first and ask questions later and the rest of them have no perception of reality. Stay true to yourself and those around you. You'll be better off.

Why do you need to lie?
Just because alot of other people do it doesn't mean you need to aswel.
Have you ever heard the saying 'Honesty is the best policy'? Lying your way around will one day catch up on you.
I say stuff lying, and be honest. Imagine how much better this world would be if more people did that.

Watch Faux News and State of the Union Addresses from last 5 years; listen to Rush, Sean, Laura, and Bill. That'll get you started on your training. Oh yea, anything you can get your hands on where Rummy or Dick is speaking.

Oh come off it. Take a look at the voting records of our military overseas and see how much of a stone cold killer Bush is. Also, I think you're mistaken....look at Kerry for tips on how to become a better liar. Also the biased liberal media would be another good source.

My advice would be to consult the democratic hero Bill (slick willie} Clinton. "I did not have sex with that woman" is probably the most baldfaced lie ever told.BTW, you are lying to yourself right now.

I don't see why you would want to learn how to lie. For example, I don't lie and I don't intend to start now.
