I used to work with this guy for half a year. We did not know each other that well, but I always think he has a good personality. At least he is very good-looking. He liked me and I turned him down again and again. Then he disappeared in my life. After half a year, I dropped him a few lines (nothing important) in an email. He said he could not remember me......How embarrasing!!!!!
:D

Thanks to all of you here.
Well, if he was pretending not to know me, why did he do that? He hated me?
:(

he was probably lying because you turned him down, or he hits on so many girls he can remember them all

i'm sure he just said that because you turned him down once before....he probably does remember you, but won't say. That's what you get for being so picky...That could've been the love of your life, the father to your children, and you blew it...ha ha!

Chance are he was lying...if he wasn't then you were just any old piece of meat and good thing you turned him down...why would you drop him lines after all that? I'm sure he just was being non-chalant.

i'm sure he's in denial. let's face it, even if we really do not remember the person who sent us an email or called us or talked to us, if that person gave us the impression that he/she knows us - we would never admit to that person that we do not remember him cause we do not want to embarass that person (or ourselves for that matter). [ with the exception of creeps and sales agents of course]

No need for you to be embarassed. I think he went really low with that strategy.

Why would it be embarrasing? Do you expect everyone to remember you ALL the time?

I can't believe you wasted my time asking this question. You are most likely full of yourself and he wanted a piece at the time. He was probably a jerk and it's better that you don't talk to him anymore.

No. That has never happened to me. Once someone turns me down once, I let them alone.
