No Britney is a goner! First off Britney has to find her fan base. The majority of her fans have grown up and moved on and the tweens these days worship Hilary Duff, and the High School musical kids. Britney has no talent as far as singing. Britney only had one number one hit in the U.S and that was Baby hit me one more time! Britney got lucky when she first came out. She was sixteen and she was seen as this sweet cute virginal teen that all the kids wanted to be like. Now it's seven years later and she's been married two times and has two kids. So no I don't think she'll ever rule the pop world again!

I personally do not think that she will return as the "Bubble Gum Princess of pop" strictly because while holding the title, she was also seen as a virgin. Many things have changed in her life and it is time for her to move on to another title. I am sure that people still love her and she will come back eventually but not as the "Bubble Gum Princess of pop."

Spears days of being the bubble gum pop princess are definately over. To be a bubble gum pop princess, you have to have that sweet innocence that people believe, and more importantly, you have to be the "role model" type person that people, especially the "tween" crowd looks up to. Once you start corrupting your image, and you destroy all of the preconceived notions that people have of you and how great you are, you've lost your fan base. It's like with any "great" music idol of years past. They get their fifteen minutes of fame, they either strive to make that fifteen minutes last 15 years or longer, or they destroy every chance of making it like Spears has done. Personally, for me, Spears lost her bubble gum pop princess image when she released her second CD, she lost my willingness to buy her CD's as well. Gone are the days of her bubble gum pop princess rule that she had when she released her first CD. Besides, it's not hard to get the Bubble Gum Pop Princess title anymore, just about every tween to teenage girl who has been on Disney Channel (Hillary Duff, Hannah Montanna, etc) have their shot at being the Bubble Gum Pop Princess and Disney makes a killing off of the tween and teen fan base!

Her time is gone. She can never reclaim her "bubble gum princess" title. Many people have lost all respect for her because of the things she has been doing lately. It may be a publicity thing, but it's gone above and beyond anything that should really happen

A couple of years ago, "Opps, I did it Again" was the only thing that people would talk about or listen to. Now, High School Musical is the music capital of America, so I would say no.

I don't think she'll be as popular as she did when she started, but she's doing a job at making the headlines.

I think she's GONE! Her pop era is over, and the consumers have moved on. Hip-hop and rock now dominates.
