I'm not sure exactly what you mean but I think it's okay depending on their reason. A lot of kids out there are spoiled. I think everyone should take an hour out of their entire christmas shopping time and do something good for someone else. Go grocery shopping and donate the goods to soup kitchen, etc. I think there are some good reasons out there not to celebrate it.

Yes and no! If they are Christians then yes. If they arnt then no not really if its not a festival celebrate in there country they arnt really missing anything its just another day. The true meaning of Christmas is lost anyway now its all about buying stuff and giving it to people. Company's push it more and more and make it more materialistic just to make more money.

Why would it be a sad thing? There are many different cultures in this world you know; and a lot of those cultures still exchange gifts in late December; although it is not the "Christianized" way of gift exchanging, i.e the Christmas tree and Santa Claus.

Yes I think it is. My parents who claim to be devout Christians were and still are very anti-Christmas (they also claim to be adamently anti Jehovah's Witness even though you couldn't tell them apart from one based on their practices or lack thereof) so I was not able to celebrate it unless I was visiting other people where they were not in attendance.
