3x^2 – 30x + 48= 0
divide the whole eqn by 3 then u ll hav
x^2 – 10x + 16 =0
now,
8 x 2 = 16 and 8+2=10
so, write it in the form of factors.
x^2 – 8x - 2x+ 16 =0
x(x-8)-2(x-8)=0
(x-8)(x-2)=0
so, x= 2,8
hope it helps u..

If you're trying for solutions to the quadratic equation

3x^2 - 30x +48 = zero

Then the answer is 2 and 8:

3(x^2 - 10x + 16) = 0 Factor the parentheses trinomial:

2(x -2)(x - 8) = 0 etc.

f(x)=3x^2-30x+48
in order for this question to be easier divide it by 3.
x^2-10x+16
then Factor
(x-8) (x-2)
x=8, 2

3x² – 30x + 48
= 3(x² - 10x +16)
= 3(x - 8)(x - 2)

Divide everything in the equation by 3:

x^2 - 10x + 16

Then factor:

(x -8)(x - 2)

x = 8, 2
