I just received my brand new Dell laptop two days ago. I am having issues already. I have gone to several sites tonight that keep locking up my computer. I have not downloaded any software on it yet other than what came installed. here is a couple examples of the issues tonight:

on my myspace profile page an error comes up that says photobucket your bandwidth has been exceeded all over it where the layout should be, yet you can go to another computers and access it just fine.

I went to xmradio.com to listen to my satelite radio online and when you click the player launch the screen freezes

I went online to zune.net to install the software on this computer also and when I click download the screen freezes.

basically after the screen freezes the explorer just quits responding.

my other computers are working just fine, they are all on a wireless network.

Any Ideas?

Dell preloads their computers with so much junk and trial software that it's a miracle I don't hear about people like you all day long.

I'll tell you what I tell everyone who gets a new PC from Dell.

If you didn't get a windows CD with your computer, call them and demand they send you one. You paid for it already.

Once you have your windows CD, boot to CD and completely format the hard drive and install a fresh copy of windows. Then you can install only the programs you actually want on your computer, and not all that other junk dell sends you.

well for the freezing part you have memory and if dell didnt either put a new memory chip in or they put in the wrong memory chip kind and sometimes on myspace it'll mess up on its own thats myspace and software is bad for your computer so try not to download software but if you do then try not to upload so much of it and if the internet is not responding then you need to turn off your computer then turn it back on and if you have enough money then order a dell helpdesk and thats about at least from 300 dollars to 500 dollars so yea thats pretty much it and you should of had some discs coming with it and their should be a purpleish kind of lookin one and i think you use that one

That seems pretty odd. Try restarting your laptop. If you still have problems then call Dell up and explain the problem to them and they should be able to help you.
