He was good because he had the drive the be the best like Kurt Angle. He also had his amature background which helps. Some people are just naturals and can pick up wrestling quite easily. He was also one of those people who would not settle in not being the best. Saddly he had no love for the business that made him a star.

His technical background helped. He wasn't just a big guy who
came into wrestling. He won an NCAA title in 2000 after finishing
second in 1999. His roommate was Shelton Benjamin, when he
was in college, so that obviously helped, since Benjamin is a great technical wrestler as well, but Benjamin's gimmick needs work. He and Shelton wrestled as a tagteam in Ohio Valley Wrestling, and even won theOVW Southern tagteam championship belts. He was already fundamentally solid when he entered pro wrestling and got better. His size could make him a great monster heel, or a big babyface, depending on how he
chose to work his character. Brock Lesnar joined the K-1 promotion, so I don't think he will be wrestling for Vinnie Mac anytime soon. There's talk of a Brock Lesnar-Kurt Angle MMA
(Mixed Martial Arts)match, but I don't know if it will happen. I'm
sure it would draw a lot of interest in the pro wrestling world if
it does take place.

I have to admit that I am a Brock Lesnar fan. I was sorry that he left. What gets me was when he became WWE champion on Smackdown he was 24 years old. Randy Orton was also 24 years old when he became WWE champion on Raw. Randy claims he's the youngest WWE champion ever. Granted Raw and Smackdown are 2 different shows but they both have heavyweight champions. I don't think Randy has the right to toot his horn about being the youngest heavyweight champion when Brock was the same age. Also Brock won the championship belt in less time than Randy did. If I'm not mistaken Broke was only with the WWE for six months when he won his belt. Randy was with the WWE for over a year before he won his.

I don't share your enthusiasm. I never saw any evidence that he "carried" the Company. I saw Lesnar make contributions to the business but it was obvious his size was the door opener for him. Especially with his performance at his last wrestlemania. That match at Wrestlemania XX was truly one of the all time worst matches I've ever seen. Then he flipped the crowd off as he left.

Yes Lesnar had some incredible matches but it takes more than a few good matches to become a legend. It takes long term commitment and character

Lesnar was a good draw and he's definitely way better than John Cena, but he botched a lot of moves. Like when he tried to F-5 A-Train and dropped him on his head and when he tried the shooting star press and landed on his head and didn't even get close to the other guy. He really only got pushed because of his size. He also turned his back on WWE to try football and we all know how that turned out.

Cause he got pushed by the ones with true ability. Like Kurt Angle, pretty much the only reason they stayed friends on Smackdown.

Lesnar was an animal. And he was very technically sound. He knew what he was doing, and hit every move with perfection. He was an instant fan favorite and would still be carrying WWE had he not left for football...which unfortunately he didnt even make it in....
