So - you've been dating this guy for a year and he's still not divorced? Are you sure they're separated?

Well - if he's telling you the truth about the whole situation, you should definitely not feel jealous of his kids. Regardless of how much he loves you - his kids will always take precendence over you. That's the way it SHOULD be too.

Are you jealous because you think he's seeing the "ex" - or because you're jealous of the love he has for his kids?

if you want him to be part of your life then i suggest you start to be apart of his...it's natural to feel jealous but that will not help the relationship in the long term. ask yourself what you really want out of this relationship. if you cannot accept his kids, then you really need to reconsider the relationship and if it is something that you can do without, move on and stop wasting both your time. If you see yourself being with him, try spending with him and the kids and see how that goes. it may not be as bad as you think and you may stop feeling jealous once you know what's going between him and his kids and his ex (i think this is why you are jealous) because his kids are his connection to his ex wife.

what are you doing being seprated doesnt mean anything #1
you need to wait till you get a copy of his divorce decree before you even talk to him.

it's pretty obvious that his marriage is a shamble because he's cheating with you.

it's the age old situatuation your a very bright woman, and you're not deparate ask yourself what kind of partner would he make to you if he's cheating on his wife...

actually ask yourself who you are for being with a known married man, check your own morals at your own door.

you're next

not for a relationship..
but to be cheated on. leave him alone

Separated is still married.

To save yourself from worrying whether he and the "almost-but-isn't-quite" ex could possibly rekindle something, during one of his visitations....leave him alone.

Until he comes a-knockin with a FILED divorce decree in hand. He's still HER husband.

If you have these feelings now you will have them later. Get out while you're ahead. If he's been separated for 1 year he probably isn't getting divorced. Who really wants to be the chick on the side.

He's still married. His marriage may not be working, but he's still legally married. You should stop seeing him and find an UNMARRIED man to date.

You are jealous when he visits his kids? Because? Because he is also seeing his ex?
Why deal with this? Find someone without all the baggage.

First he's not divorce so he is legally still married and you shouldn't put yourself in that situation his last realtionship hasn't even ended yet. Plus if he will cheat on his wife he will do the same to you.

It's called, Get over it! No matter what they will always be a part of each others lives. They have children and it is obvious that he wants to be a part of their lives. Good for him. Grow up and look at reality.
Good luck
