Could I be pregnant?
I am on Levlen birth control pills, i am barely on time. i sometimes take them hours late, and sometimes a day and a half late, but i always follow the directions to take them right after.

Every four months i have a period. its those seasonal birth control pills. I just stopped taking them to have my period, but it only lasted a day and a half and i was LIGHT!

Now my last periods i was on them heavily and they lasted up to a month!

please note that i have been on these pills for three years.

Is it possible from always unprotected sex with my long time boyfriend and my pills that i might be pregnant?

PLEASE ANSWER SERIOUSLY, i dont wanna waste money or scare my man by gettin a pregnancy test. (we live together and he always knows where i am at)

Yes, no birth control method is 100%. It is also a possibility your body has built up an immunity since you've been on them for so long. Also if you drink alcohol while on this pills it has an adverse affect on them.

It's possible to get pregnant even when you take birth control pills on time. They are not 100% effective. If you don't want to take a pregnancy test, you can go to the doctor and get one, or you can wait a little bit longer, because if you are pregnant, you will know. Be careful, though, because doctors don't advise women to take the pill if they think they're pregnant. You can avoid all this stress entirely if you grow up and take your pills responsibly. If you can't do that, you can use another form of birth control like an IUD or the DepoProvera shot. I have a friend who uses the NuvaRing, and that has to be replaced only once a month. Figure it out, girl. If you think you're mature enough to have sex and live with a man, you ought to be mature enough to take control of your reproductive status.

You could be pregnant. My wife, and i made sure she took the pill even had the tubes tied. We didn't want anymore children, as we were in our early 40's.

She ended up pregnant at 44. Niether she nor I was happy about that. Go have the test when he's at work and you'll have the answer.

You should schedule an appointment with your gynecologist. Tell your man that you are going out on the town with your friends, and take them with you.
