I had twins on my first try at having a sim baby. They just had their first birthday and things have gotten crazy.I'm ready to let social services take them away lol. Its driving me crazy. The mom keeps passing out from not enough rest,food, all the bars going into the red because she spends all her time caring for the kids.The nanny is an old hag that does nothing. I've fired the nanny and hired new ones but its still the same. I tried moving into a smaller house so the kids would be closer to get to and care for.That wasn't much help either. One sleeps while the other cries,poops,plays in the toilet.Its a mess. Whats the best way to handle this without letting social services take them away? Are there any hacks to make the kids sleep and shut up so s.s. doesn't take them? Uhh yeah help me lol.

well, you could use maxmotives to keep the mom from dying on you and to avoid changing nasty diapers. if you use maxmotives and have another sim move in (temporarily) to help keep the other toddler occupied, you should be ok.
maxmotives is a nightlife cheat, so if you don't have nightlife installed, you'll have to do it the slightly more complicated way. bring up the cheat box, type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, and press enter. hold down the shift button and then click on the mailbox. find make all happy on the menu and you should be good.

Lol, I was getting the same problem too. You'll want to make sure the cribs aren't in the same room because one baby will always wake up the other if located in one room. For the mother sim, rather than have her cook her meals just have her eat cookies, chips, or juice... That should boost her hunger up a little so she can snooze at least for a few lol. ...or get her hygiene, comfort, etc meters up some. As to the twins, I'm not sure if you already know this, but if you have the diaper pail object, not only does it solve the dirty diaper problem, but it will also fully bring the hygiene meter up when they get dirty from playing in puddles and such. And having the mother sim play with the baby will bring both fun meters up.
I'm not sure about this one, but I think if the toddler's hunger and energy meters are both in the red, the only way to bring the hunger up without him/her falling asleep is to place him/her in the highchair. When they're on the floor, they toss it, fall asleep, wake back up, and then have to take up a lot of time to walk or crawl over to it... So the highchair saves some time with that.
As to your question about there being cheats, yep there is. The one who mentioned about the nightlife and boolprop cheat is right. I eventually had to give in to the cheats too... lol (I used the boolprop, but I might try out the maxmotives one too since I have the Nightlife expansion.)
Oh yeah, does your sim mother have a mom or other relatives there somewhere in the neighborhood? If so, you could invite them over and they'll also help take care of the babies. Hope this helps. =)
(Btw I know what you mean about the nannies... lol I've been getting nannies that bring a bottle to the toddler and for some reason can't get to them. So what do they do? They lay the bottle on the floor and go straight back to the refrigerator for a fresh bottle, over and over, etc. lol The maid came over after awhile and wound up throwing out around 8 or 9 bottles laying around. =P)
