Yea I usually have that problem, I go to a private high school so the girls I tend to date have a ton of money, and my family struggles to keep me in school and stuff so the gifts I give tend to be nothing compared to the ones I recieve, it feels awkward now but in a week you wont even think about it. Good luck and happy holidays.

Question did you not have the funds, or were you being cheap. If you didn't have the funds then she will understand. Trust me nothing means more to a woman than a gift of any type as long as it came from the heart. No matter what the cost. However if you were being cheep then SHAME!! I know that people are going to say it's the thought that counts...but if your thought was cheap then you should feel ackward.

I know it's awkward, but she gave you this gift out of a caring heart, and all she wants from you is to know that you appreciate what she gave you. A big smile, a big thank you and a big hug are all she wants in return. If you gave her your gift out of a caring heart, then she's happy with it. Just accept her thoughtfulness, and don't feel like you have to compete with her gift or make it up to her. Let her have the joy that comes from giving a gift to someone she cares about.

If she knows that the gift came from your heart, it will be priceless to her, even if you wrote a poem to her and framed it.
