Yeah. Like the mad rush going on now, the traffic jams, and all the craziness....we've lost the true meaning of this most Holy of all holidays.

Jesus Christ took my place on the cross, and for that, I can't say enough about Him.

To turn it into a mad rush to buy gifts that few will appreciate loses the flavor of the occasion.

It all dies down on Christmas day, even the songs start dying out.

It shoudln't be that way.

Christmas should go on and on, and should be celebrated more toward the end of December, right into the New Year, and well beyond even January.

If you study what the event was and what was going on about 2000 years ago, it's more than just Dec. 25.

I have kids and love it, but people seem to forget the real reason and it becomes a pain to have to go and spend like a months pay on elaborate gifts. would be much more magic if people where just as happy having a big family meal together...

It used to be and how I'd love to have it back. My Mother died on Christmas Eve a year ago. How I'd have happily traded places with any of those people on the news who were complaining about the long lines and crowds. They don't how lucky they were to be there and not in the Hospital room where I spent my Christmas Eve. Please - if you believe in a supreme being, please ask him/her to spread the spirit. - Thanks
