Yes! When I was in my teens I had a couple of different friends that had not so pleasant looking parents and they were and are gorgeous adults..I always have wondered how that happened but I have seen it more than once and it happens the other way around..you know totally hot mom and dad and the kids look like there was a mix-up in the hospital!!
Don't fret, I don't know how old you are but your parents my not be as bad looking as you think..Most kids/teens don't think their parents are good-looking. But if you were asking someone their age what they thought it might just surprise you! I never thought my parents were anything to look at. But now that I'm in my 30's I can see now what I couldn't in my teens!

Oh yeah. Though your parents contribute a lot towards your appearance, the way you live - choosing a healthy diet, not smoking, keeping fit, even the time you spend in the sun or water as well as damage you do to yourself (eg cuts/burns) can easily make you better looking. Also, its possible for you to look different to your family. Just another quirk of the human body!

You get your genes from a long line of family members on both sides. You could end up looking like an uncle or grandma or 3rd cousin.

You shouldn't call your parents ugly. But because you did, you might just turn out like them. Anyhow, I think that they could've been pretty when they were younger, if not, it's in the genes, and most likely you, too will be.
