Professional leagues are hesitant to go to Vegas because of the potential for gambling collusion problems. Football is obviously a favorite of bettors, so I would rule that out. Basketball with point shaving is easier to affect the spread without the outcome. I don't see hockey in Vegas. Baseball has less gambling action, but you would need a climate contolled stadium. It may also seem boring in that city. I am a huge baseball fan so I would go if I lived there, and Vegas is the fastest growing metropolitan area in the U.S. Maybe someone else knows the general feeling towards baseball in the area. I know a lot of people that go there for the Nascar races, and personally I think that may be the best fit for the time being. I don't think a team will be there anytime soon.
