The most fool-proof thing to wear is a dress or skirt that falls below the knee with a cardigan sweater over it and ballet flats.
Remember to be respectful of synagogue dress code. No short skirts, open toed shoes, or bare arms. You want to look neat and modest.

I agree with "Madame", whatever you wear, make sure it's modest and respectful. I suggest a creme or dark brown pencil skirt that falls 1-2 inches below the knee. A turquoise or navy lace blouse, with a matching tank underneath. A 3/4 sleeve length cashmere cardigan in a neutral color like white, with the rhinestone buttons. Go for some ballet flat-style shoes, maybe in a bright red? Add in small gold hoops, a gold bangle, and a cute beaded clutch. A respectful yet chic look!

A nice respectful outfit, but something to have at a party also. Try blending religion with celebration.

wear a dress that goes slightly above your knees with a decorative top, if you have a nice budget look at BCBG, otherwise just find a nice dress at nordstroms, they do have a website.

Wear what you would wear to a wedding.
You never can go wrong with a black dress.
