I need a good Christmas gift for my mom and fast! She is in her 40s or so and I'm 13. I'm working off a non existent budget, but I do have good credit with dad (some $200) from office work....lol, anyway, what can I get her from a place like Wal-Mart or Circuit City or Barnes and Nobles/Books a Million or anything like that? I've tried asking her what she wants, but she doesn't have anything in mind. Please don't say anything like, all she needs is a good "I love you" or something!?!? Anyway, thanks!?

Well, I'm 14 and my mom is in her 40's to. And so far the perfect gift for any mom is something that she needs. Maybe a new kitchen applaince or even these nice 100 dollar bracelets.

Surely your mom has a collection in the home -- has a favorite author, something that she likes, something that has broken down or needs replacement ...

IF those ideas do not work -- then a couple of Gift Cards for a favorite restaurant (or two) would be ideal -- take HER out to dinner for once!

I had a favorite author and my kids found a collection of his short books all in one book.It wasn't expensive and I loved it.Books like "Stories for the heart" or "Unexplained Miracles" are really neat along with some yummy coffee. It doesn't have to be big and expensive, just think about the things she likes and reads. At one time I collected little angels and my kids bought me alot of those, they are special to this day.Listen to what she says, she might say she'd like to get a certain book,or that she might need a certain lotion she likes. That's great when someone gets you something you wanted and didn't ask for.

Anything that says "Mom" on it. Maybe a necklace from Wal-Mart? How about some relaxation CD's, a gift card to a spa for a massage, nice smelling perfume, shower gel, bubble bath, slippers, cushy pajamas....Mom's like that kind of stuff.

With a little investigation on your part you can find the ideal gift for her. Try to find things she likes to collect. It could be perfumes, dolls or anything of that sort that catches her attention. Good luck.
