like i have heard cold showers or drinking straight lemon juice. but i just need it to stop for like 4 or 5 hours... any way??? please help!

contact a gynacologist there are medicines to postpone your periods for 2 or 3 days. This is being done by women who want it that way so that they can attend some religious functions, marriages etc.

well yes taking a shower or a bath stops it for a short time. But I am not sure it is going to stop it for 4-5 hours. I really don't know of anything that is going to just stop you period cause you want it stopped for 4-5 hours. I know some people for some reason their periods stop, and they don't know why and even after not having a period in years they still get pg. No i don't know how to stop it for that certain length of time.

Hot baths help too. It'll still come on though. It's not good to mess with it too much.

Not in the way you're describing, no. Depending on why you want to stop the flow, there may be ways of working around it, but if it's for sex... /shrug. Just warn him beforehand and put down some big towels.

If your body is under alot of stress or if you work out intensely it can happen, but not just for some of hours.

You can do a google search for devices designed for the purpose of menstrual blood extraction.
You can buy a device that will allow you to remove the endometrium (the blood lining the uterus which the body gets rid of each month). I don't know how much they cost or where to purchase them.

Well I don't know. But the woman on the first Survivor show were all given a pill to make it not happen while they were on the island.

No.. I asked my ob-gyn one time about stopping for just 1 day.. going on a trip.. and he said he didn't know of a way..

yeah there is a shot you can get that is a form of birth control that stops your period for quite some time. for the short term...try standing on your head...seems like a good idea to me lol
