Depends on the situations....i suppose i'll throw off some scenarios:

1. Jealousy because of your girl talking to other guys. It can be actually healthy, as it shows you love homegirl, but UNHEALTHY if you do it in access, but think of it this way, if you KNOW your girl loves you..then what you got to worry about? I'd just like to see the faces of the dudes when she blows them off like ugly 2 dollar hoes. And if she IS flirting with them, well if she's bold enough to flirt around, she obviously can care less about you and your feelings so that's a sure sign to DISMISS the woman, otherwise it shouldn't bother you cause in your mind should be all those jealous dudes that wish they had what you had :).

2. IF it's jealousy over what someone else has.....why? THat's THEIR business, something they may have earned, some they may NOT have....in essence if there was jealousy then your PRIORITY then would be to work HARDER to get the same or BETTER...so in essence you just use that jealousy to your motivated advantage.

Only scenarios i could think of now cause i just had a brain fart...go figure....but there's my 2 cents.

I believe that in order to stop being jealous, one must find out why he/she is jealous first and then one can decide from that what to do. Being jealous comes from a lack of faith or trust in someone whether it be yourself or another person. Sometimes jealousy comes from seeing what another has and you not having it. We must learn to be content with what we have no matter what and not look at what others have because that's what will pull us down every time. Being jealous is an act of lacking in something no matter what it is; it's insecurity within yourself. When we have confidence in ourselves and others and not want to compete, that's when we will be satisfied and not be jealous. Please check out the below sites.

By realizing how much you yourself could do if you didn't waste your time being jealous of someone.

More importantly you need to learn that all good action/ sadness does not come out of jealousy or a need to be better. There actually are people who cannot be jealous because to them, every other person's real (not negative) achievement is not something to be jealous of but something that inspires them to be better.
What is negative achievement -- something that screams "I am so powerful that I can control and stop people from fulfilling their dreams".
That sort of thing just makes me snap off -- I don't call it achievement -- I call it destructive attitude.
Unlike the people who've answered "focus on their troubles", I don't do that -- I take every "positive" achiever as my role model. If I ever focus on their troubles, it's to tell myself that they overcame it -- it fills me with hope. I think this is actually called looking at the "positive" side -- unlike what is promoted by most people these days.

It depends on what exactly it is, or who it is, that you're jealous of.
Jealousy can be a b*tch. Its a hard habit to break but in the end, it really is non-productive in a persons life.
It all has to do with trust issues. Once you figure out why you have a problem trusting people, then maybe you could deal with your fears.
The answer to your problem lies only within yourself.
Best of luck!

Jealousy is a normal feeling, everybody feels it, but there is a limit for jealousy, you should use your jealousy to be a better person, be jealous of a good behavior and try to imitate it. or try to be jealous of god looks and try to work on your looks.
If you are jealous of the rich, then try to work more...etc
Don't just sit and feel jealous work on your life and make it better.

Maybe humility. Do you have a neurotic dependence on the object you are jealous about? Is it just pride that someone is better than you? Your superego is telling you that you are dependent or inferior. Get by yourself someplace and yell, "KISS OFF" "I DON'T NEED THAT!"

Become more confident and have more awareness that the right person for you won't want to wander off. Keep in mind the Bill Withers lyric: "Love comes eager to stay."

If you are jealous of others, tell yourself that they have their troubles too.

If you are jealous of your partner with another guy, then tell them not to talk to them anymore. If your jealousy is unreasonable, tell yourself it makes you look stupid.
