I want to wear thongs to hide pantie lines not to be slutty. we were in the store a few days ago and i questioned her about them. when i did she was like no then your butt will be hangin out. no not that one. how do i convince her

Just tell her you want to wear it at night. In fact doctors recommend using small underwear or none at all at night to air it out. And also there are times when the normal ones cut into your skin, at those times, these work better.

Well a lot depends on your butt.
Thongs becomes became cool because clothes became very tight. Many girls also wear them because it makes them feel sexy (which is a good thing).
Thongs are generally unconfortable and if you wear low cut or light coloured clothing they are obviously visible.
In the 1970s and on TV is is common for women to go without underwear to avoid the panty line problem.
An alternative is to wear the large panties designed to give no panty line. In addition if you are wearing white or light coloured clothes you should wear flesh coloured underwear (depending on the colour of your flesh) or a colour that matches the clothes.

There are panties that don't leave a line. If mom doesn't approve of thongs then ask her how to get rid of the lines. If she says it's not important, let her know it's important to you and she's not being considerate of your feelings. Try looking through girls clothes magazines with her, maybe she'll be more apt when she sees professional (non-porno) models wearing them.

You don't wait for her to be convinced, if at all. You go to the lingerie store, buy them yourself and wear them.
When she finds out and questions, tell her you need them to get rid of VPL, and that you will not change your mind whatever she says. Stick to your guns!

Your mother does have a point in that you may be too young to be wearing what some consider risque underwear.
I would wait until you have a job and can buy your own underwear.

yup...my mom says the same thing except she thinks its gross and it might get stuck...LMAO! Well all I do is go to the store by myself and buy them anyway...wash em yourself dont throw em along with the rest of the laundry...Simple!
