I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

You don't enter to a computer's registry to remove virus, it will messed up everything in your computer. Since you cannot install antivirus, do a online scanning. If you can install an anti-virus software on your pc then install any anti-virus you able to install. It's better if you install an anti-spy software too.
If you can't install in normal mode reboot to safe mode to install. Scan your computer it might solve your problem. Do it in safe mode.
Don't frightened us to enter to the registry to remove virus. Registry is not something you can play with it, one step wrong, and your pc will be messed up. Even computer tech. pro also won't do that...

first uninstall all anti virus software... then go to www.avast.com and download the personal edition... this anti virus software has a boot time scan feature that will check the computer for viruses BEFORE your windows application starts and removes viruses from the registry... it is free but you have to register for a key that will last 14 months... at which time it must be renewed... you have 60 days to try it and if you don't like it you can uninstall it and find something you do like... i personally will not use a computer without it... i commented on it at my office and the head programmer tried it... it saved him from a worm that crashed his entire system and nothing else would remove it... the avast fixed it when nothing else would... now none of my co workers will use anything else... i work for a software development company... but we don't do anti virus...

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TOUCH YOUR REGESTRY AND DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE ON HERE THAT TELLS YOU TO!!! That should only be handled by people who know what they're doing. (I work I.T. and I don't even like to touch it unless there's no other choice)
If I were you, I'd go get Norton Internet security and use that. Those free antivirus programs are famous because they're free, not because they're the best. Remember the saying, "You get what you pay for"? It's the truth in this case.
Get norton internet security, download all updates and run a scan. Download Ad-Aware from lavasoft.com, and after getting the updates for that, scan. after that clean up all cookies and temp files, delete your recycle bin and restart. IF YOU DO THIS YOUR COMPUTER WILL RUN FINE. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS AND START SCREWING WITH THE REGESTRY YOU'LL END UP MESSING EVERYTHING UP... TRUST ME!
