they stopped making pennies at that time because the copper was so expensive and needed by the war effort so they made pennnies out of steel... if you find a copper one it is worth a fortune

Your penny is known as a steel or war penny. It's a combination of steel and zinc. Copper was a more strategic metal than steel during WWII or at least it was during the time they made those pennies. It's only worth a few cents in average condition. Still... it's a bit different and neat to have. Save it for 20 or 30 years and it will definately be worth more.

During that time all the copper went to WW2, so they made them from a mix of steel and zinc. Depending on condition, its worth about 2 dollars. More than anything its just something cool to have.

Probably what you have is a steel penny. The war effort used all the available copper (for brass shell casings, etc.), so pennies were made of steel.

Its worth on the other hand is closer to 25,000 - 30,000...
No, no. I'm just kidding.
Its about the same as a regular penny; only neater. Keep it as a collectable.

Ditto on the steel penny. value, probably about ten cents, if it is in real good condition. you should be able to value it on any numismatic website, or see what they sell for on ebay

No the one cent that its worth more than its face value are those from the 1920's it depends who made them. They should have a letter on the face side of the coin, that means who made it and depending on that depends its value
