First of all, congratulations. To quote Lou Reed, "It's the beginning of a Great Adventure."
Yes. Sex is okay anytime during pregnancy, just not after her bag of waters has broke. Some doctors even recommend sex as a way to induce labor during the last days of pregnancy.
btw -- I'm a new daddy too. My son was born 9/3/06.

my husband asked are doctor if we could have sex because he was worried about hurting the baby... She seriosly laughted and said that there was no way his parts were big enough to hurt the baby. And that it was my decision on wether or not we could have sex.
It all depends on the pregnacy... most of the time its fine. The baby is inside a protective bubble so there is no way your going to hurt the kid. Or put a dent in its head.
but sometimes there are other reasons that you shouldnt... So make sure that you ask your doctor and your fiance if its all right. Your fiance might not feel up to it.

Yes, as long as she is physically comfortable, it is okay to have sex. You can have sex right up until her water breaks and not cause any problems.
Actually sex is a good thing. Chemicals in male ejaculate help soften the cervix which will help it dilate during labor. The midwife at my birthing center gave my husband this little wink when she was checking me once "Nice and soft. Someone is doing his job!" And our birthing class teacher said it was a good time to practice Kegels (exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor). You can tell your fiance if she is squeezing hard enough! :) My husband liked those alot.
And I don't know about anyone else, but I have never had such amazing orgasms as I had in those first few months of pregnancy. :D

As long as the doctor says it is fine and she is not dilated everything is great. Enjoy it while you can because when that baby gets here, you won't have much time. My husband and I had sex up until the day I delivered. The doctor would tell you otherwise, but if you are concerned have your fiance ask at her next appointment. Congratulations!!!

No it won't hurt the baby but Part of the scientific explanation for the belief is that human sperm contains the hormone prostaglandin, believed to stimulate the cervix and help start contractions. another is stimulating nipples also has same effect. Have fun but not as frequent if she develops contractions. Apparently studies have shown that it isn't true but I felt them. Each woman is different. Good luck and congrats.

It's fine to have sex, but if she feels any pain then it's best to stop. It may be uncomfortable as she probably has a growing belly.
When I was 17 weeks pregnant I started to bled after having sex, nothing was wrong but it can happen sometimes, it scared the crap out if me though. But dont worry its very rare for it to happen.
Go have some fun

there's NOTHING wrong with having sex while pregnant. not even at 9 months. it can NOT hurt the baby in any way. in fact, research shows that having sex releases stress from the woman, and that the less stress the woman has, the healthier she & the baby will be.

It's ok. I asked my dr when I was pregnant that same question, I didn't have any problems. You may have to change positions to not lay on top of the baby but it can still be done. Good luck new daddy.

you can have sex until your doctor tells you not to. it wont hurt the baby, just try a side by side position and be gentle. it will probably be more awkward for the two of you than anything else. if in doubt ask the docotr

its ok, and suggested! nothing can hurt the baby since her cervix is plugged to prevent infection. plus the baby is in the uterus, you would need to do some real damage to your fiance to send pain through her vagina, cervix, and to her uterus. the baby is in the amniotic sac which is made so it can move around without concequence, so have fun!
