I have the McCall's 4678 pattern and I have cut out all the pieces and sewn the sock part of the booties/socks. Now what do I do with the 3 bottom parts and how do I attach them to the sock part?

Thanks,

I bought a "sewing for dummies" pattern a few months ago, and it was the HARDEST pattern I have ever tried to do; instructions were not clear enough, so I don't recommend a manual from them at all!

Re-read your paper pamphlet with the instructions that came with your pattern pieces. If you follow the instructions EXACTLY step by step, your socks/booties should go together perfectly. When it starts to get really confusing, sometimes all you need to do is take a break from it, come back the next day and it will all make sense.

Remember, you can always bring your pieces and instructions into your fabric store or wherever you bought the pattern, and they will be more than happy to help you figure it out. The girls at Joanns and WalMart have helped me many, many times. Good luck!
