okay, so there's this guy I used to like (russell). I talked to him, we planned to hang out, he didn't come to school that day. I didn't have his number/msn. we ddin't talk after that. to make it worse, this loser kid told him I was telling the whole school that russell likes me (lie). I never talked to him after that. Now, he just stares at me and then looks away. he looks at me A LOT. I mean, I don't mind, if he wanted me I'd go out with him. but he never TALKS to me. some people say he does like me. what's your opinion on this?

yeah, I really don't think he likes you...and he's being a jerk by not even talking to you after all of that....I'd say tell him that you don't appreciate what he did, then see what he has to say. If he doesn't say that he does like you, then just move on.

The way it seems to me is he's a little embarrassed and shy. Have you tried going up to him first and talking to him? If he stares at you alot then he probably does like you. Take the initiative and go talk to him.

Just talk to him. Try to clear up all the gossip and then if he is still interested, make another date to hang out. First and foremost, get the gossip out of the way.
