How would you spend five days in Morocco? And if you were to choose one city in Morocco, where would you go?

5 days program:

day1: arrival to casablanca airport, transfer to the hotel, visit of the the city at night or the evening, according to ur flight schedule
day2: take the sout direction to reach Marrakech, the best city you can visit in Morocco, it's amaizing,very specila place, a mix of the african and arabo muslim culture, we call it the red city because all wals are red, night life is great there too, many restaurants are offering diners with fantasia shows like "chez ali", and also many good night clubs like "the Pasha", "paradise" or "new feeling"
visit the monuments: menara, koutobia, ....
visit jamaa el fna the evening, wonderful!!! everything u can imagine is there, i can garuantie that u won't find a such place in any other country

day3: excursion to Ourika, near Marrakech, if u love nature, water falls, mountains, u will love Ourika.
back to marrakech the evening,u can have a diner show or free evening in a disco...

day4: free day in marrakech or take the north direction to reach Rabat, the capital ciy, it's an imperial city, if u like culture trips u will like the city, many monuments...., but i would prefer an additional day in Marrakech for shopping, or u can enjoy an excursion to Asni and "llala takerkoust", near Marrakech, and come back to marrakech the evening

Day5: back to Casablanca: according to ur flight schedule, if it's the evening, u can enjoy a shoping or a short visit in the modern city of casablanca, visit the Hassan II mosquee....

end of the program!!!!

Morocco is a big draw for tourists from the UK, right? I'm in America so its a bit more of a journey for me.

Don't know much about Morocco, but I'd probably choose to stay in Marrakech (sp?) as its a city I've heard of. I'd like to see the markets, the people, any ancient sites of historical value, basically get to know a little more about the country.

first of all I would choose ---- Marrakesh. and spend a few days shopping & eating. then a day (weather permitting) at the water park & eating. a few days seeing the sites, such as a bus tour of the town. or, a ride through the mountains to find a off the road place to visit or eat at. watch the dinner show "fantasia".
or just spend a day sitting at a coffee shop watching the traffic.
now that's better than television. those people are crazy drivers. it's a hoot!
