From the East there are only a couple of teams that have a chance. Miami can pull it together once Shaq comes back and have a good run at the right time. The odds are that the team will come out of the Central Division. The Pistons, Bulls, Cavs. The Cavs are still a relatively young team, but lack a point guard and a true shooter. The Bulls are still young and will have a chemistry building over the year. The Pistons have the experience and are my pick to make it out of the East, that is if Billups stays this year.
From the West, it is a lot tougher. The conference has a couple of teams; the top seven teams have a good chance. The top teams as of today would be the Spurs, Suns, Mavs, and now Denver. The wild card right now is the new chemistry on the Nuggets. With the addition of "the answer", will they have enough shots to go around on the team and does their defense improve. Dallas was there last year, but can they stick it out after playing a long season with a so-so bench. The Suns are certainly the most exciting team to watch this year and will mainly outscore any team that they play. The team chemistry and future revolves around Stoudemire’s knee. "Matrix" is all everything and remaining two time MVP Nash are also nice pieces to have on a team. The "old man" of the West, the Spurs, has the chemistry, the players, the coach and the defense; but they do not have a true center and they are shooting a lot of three’s. Then you have Utah and everybody’s favorite team the Kobe's. I guess its anybody’s guess in the West and it comes down to who is playing the best at the end of the year. That is why going to say a team from Texas and the Suns. I am going to have to give it to the Spurs in the West.
So I have the Spurs and Pistons, what year is this?
Yeah now that I read this, it does not look right, so I will go with the Suns and Heat in the battle of the hot teams in the hot weather of June.

Its pretty hard to decide the best team for the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, there are few teams in the West which have done well until today. My opinion is Suns-Bulls/Heat
